the seat is hot

Introducing my bee girls: Rahma,Dian,Me,Eugene And Sutanti....meeting them, college days turn out to be more colourful!
They are quite smart to choose these movies :]

Do you ever imagine to be a movie critic?
You get to watch the latest movies, eating popcorn, write critic and you will be highly rewarded?
oke..skip the popcorn,so not professional..what do you think?

So today,we had this seminar..so called "seminar" organised by our english department, some lecturer in charge reminded us to be present in the seminar for the additional point of our term assignment. You just need to watch the movie and join in the discussion afterward although there is an essay to be submit,i couldnt be more happy.Free comedy movies?why not..the most enjoying and entertaining assignment i've ever received in my life. And if you write a good essay, you'll get money award and a certificate.

At the end of the day, backache is still the problem, easily solve when you have a massage master at home :P and i'm actually listening to Best Day by Matt White now.heee

Quickie Express,i watched it before with my beloved braddelites and when i watched it again today, the old fragment came rushing back.I miss those moments with them-Ah beng, oni Chan and ce Anita. So today i laughed extra loud because i remember the jokes Ahbeng and Oni gave then when watching this.

Highly recommended The Hangover,i never heard of this movie before until today and it's great.

I love you man, more dramatic but still good.Friendship never die!

In the dark auditorium, everybody enjoying and laughing out loud.
there is a young lady crying sadly.
Cheer up Rey!

unexpectedly thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival. Traditionally, it is a time to give thanks for the harvest and express gratitude in general. It is a holiday celebrated primarily in Canada and the United States. While perhaps religious in origin, Thanksgiving is now primarily identified as a secular holiday.

And yea i didnt expect to celebrate here in Jakarta.
When i went to church this morning, the church was really full because maybe the famous Korean pianist,Lee Ah Lee,playing only with her 4 fingers came to the church as a guest.Oke,i know about that information but i didnt know that today actually is a thanksgiving day where this church (GKY) celebrate it every year singing songs of praise with a fruit parade on the aisles and has a special thanksgiving offering.Poppy and I were dumbfounded as we didnt prepare the special offering.we feel bad.

I like the part when the pastor said "the amount of offering is not the value that God will receive but the feeling after you give is the value that God will receive"

this year will be a reminder, next year will be the action!

Also unexpectedly when we had a family dinner at Ah Cuh (a chinese restaurant at Duta Mas)
we had this conversation:
my aunt:Vi,what is the meaning of Thanksgiving?
vi:Uhm,thanks and give.American loves thanksgiving.
my aunt:why?
vi:to them,it's the day when they can gather all the member of their family to have a special feast.
everybody:Isnt that like what we do now?

I feel amused, really,so now we have thanksgiving on our calender every year only that we dont have turkey but chilli crab and bowl of rice.

Note: check out Lee Ah Lee, she is really special,an Ichiban piano skills and a great motivation for each everyone of us.
She made thanksgiving today, more meaningful. choo aa eh C:
